Any major change project is composed of two parallel processes:
- Change Management: the project management aspect of the integration (work on the new organizational chart, the adoption of new processes, procedures and ways of working, all the necessary legal, HR, systems and client related work essential in the process). WE TYPICALLY LEAVE THIS PART TO TRADITIONAL CONSULTING FIRMS.
- Change Leadership: the process of shortening the lead-time in getting people back to a purposeful and constructive attitude. This process builds on three agendas:
- Logos (strategic agenda): The key theme here is co-creating clarity and understanding about the new organization”/Ensure people rapidly “re-own” their organization
- Ethos (leadership agenda): Enables the leaders of the new organization to publicly display and demonstrate that they are keen to “walk the talk”. It shows the new leadership culture in action
- Pathos (motivational agenda): through use of the right symbols, stories and metaphors, this agenda concurs to “create the conditions for people to do and be their best”
